Even though Colin Kaepernick has not been signed to a team for this football season, he will still continue his activist work in the world. The former 49er is currently being blackballed by the NFL after kneeling during the national anthem during the 2016 football season. Now Colin is pledging one million dollars to organizations in oppressed communities. “I will donate one million dollars plus all the proceeds of my jersey sales from the 2016 season to organizations working in oppressed communities, 100k a month for 10 months.” – Colin Kaepernick So far Colin has raised $800,000 with $200,000 to go. This month, $34,000 was given to The Dreamville Foundation, $33,000 was given to the Lower East Side Girls Club, and $33,000 to 100 Suits for 100 Men.
