Monday morning Trump announced his new healthcare plan to replace the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare. We are calling this (as of now), Trumpcare. Trump calls it a “wonderful new healthcare bill”. The White House Press Secretary is calling it “an important step toward restoring healthcare choices and affordability back to the American people an important step toward restoring healthcare choices and affordability back to the American people”.
The new healthcare may replace Obamacare but will not measure up to the Affordable Care Act in anyway. It now moves the power from federal to state control. It would repeal the penalty faced by those who refused to buy health insurance.
