Looks like Odell Beckham has just made NFL history with his new show deal with Nike. The Giants wide receiver just signed a deal in the ball park of around $5 million a year for the next 5 years with Nike, who were competing with Adidas for the high valued football player.
Beckham' last show deal with Nike was much lower giving him less than $1 million a year. This deal is two times more than any other NFL player has received, making it the richest shoe deal an NFL player has ever done.
Nike started gaining more recognition with Beckham with the shoes he wore before each game last year, being customized by sneaker designer Troy Cole. Each design was something more crazy and gossiped about.
"It was a long process," Beckham's agent, Zeke Sandhu, told ESPN. "This proved he's an icon."
