New information has been received on the fatal car accident tennis Olympian Venus Williams was involved in. The family of Jerome Barson, the 78-year-old man who was killed in the accident, asked for Venus's phone records first to see if she was texting and driving or just distracted as she approached the intersection. The family's rep, Michael Steinger, says they have now retrieved the black box from Venus's SUV which showed them that Venus went from 0 to 19.9 mph in about 4 seconds as she pulled through the intersection. The box reveals that Venus was going about 20 mph when the Barson's T-boned her SUV, but Venus told police she was only going 5 mph. The family's rep says from his point of view, Venus probably "looked up, saw the red light and gunned it." The video of the accident was released awhile ago, so this is still being used to see exactly what happen and to piece the story together. The question is still, is Venus at fault for the accident?
