Today (March 8th) is the International Women's Day and also, the Day Without Women. The same group that put together the Women's March in January after Trump's Inauguration decided that on March 8th women should take the day off. As we continue to fight for out rights for equality, we will remove ourselves from society for a day to show how important our roles as women really are. So in honor the "A Day Without A Women", I decided to throw an event here in Greenville associated with the movement, "A Day Without Women". The event will be free with free food and drink and raffles. Starting at 12noon-2pm at the Nu Look Business Center. Just something for women of the ENC (eastern North Carolina) area to show appreciate and that we stand for women rights and equality. This is my first event I'm doing and I am super excited and nervous! To my surprise, the local new station, WNCT also picked up the story! Check out the clip below!
