Al Green Forces Trump Impeachment Vote & Loses

Democratic Rep. Al Green introduced the idea of paperwork to impeach Trump in October.

On Wednesday, Green once again brought the idea back to the House of Representatives, who decided to vote immediately to get the matter out of the way. Green introduced 2 articles of impeachment against Trump, which had nothing to do with Trumps obstruction of justice or his current Russian investigation, but he decide to speak on Trump’s association with “White Nationalism, Neo-Nazism and Hate.”

In simple words, his argument just wasn’t directed in the right way. The vote that took place was rejected 364 to 58. The vote, based off paper, was expected to fail due to the republican-controlled house.

The House of Democrats have recently filed their own 5 articles of impeachment towards Trump as well, they did participate in the vote.
